And if you want to get picutres that reflect the mood of the show, try to hold off the flash from your compact camera, said photographer Geoff Ang. That means shooting at a higher ISO and keeping your camera steady.
The fashion photographer, who shoots fashion spreads and commercials, said: "Flash kills the ambience and the mood of the show. If the show uses beautiful purple lights, for example, and you use flash, your only see white light in your photo, and you don't get the feeling of the show any more."
